Job Title Associate Photographer – Savannah, GA
The Role Associate Photographers are responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using a Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital camera equipment, and iPad, they create virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential properties. Each photographer covers a core territory, meets scheduled appointments, and collaborates closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management. Photography managers oversee the team remotely within local markets.
Responsibilities Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
Create a portfolio of photographs to showcase homes and apartments, using photography techniques to highlight the space.
Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to prioritize tasks.
Manage market coverage: while not photographing a home, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure data coverage, identify new inventory, and spot missing availability.
Adhere to CoStar safety standards to protect company vehicle and equipment.
Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements of Position Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
Perform repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
Bend, stoop, squat, lift, twist, and carry as necessary.
Work and drive outside during all seasons.
Work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications At least 2 years of professional experience.
Real estate photography experience required.
Experience as a professional photographer or a degree in photography.
Drone photographer with an FAA Part 107 License/Certification, obtained within 30 days of offer.
Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to capture and enter data accurately.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
Enjoy independent work in a fast‑paced environment.
Field experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Compensation This hourly role offers a base salary of $49,000–$50,000 annually, with the potential for monthly bonuses based on performance metrics. Bonuses are awarded monthly and are incentive‑driven.
