Work Type: Hybrid (Monday‑Thursday in‑office; Friday remote)
Location: Memphis, TN
Travel: Required; attendance at events, photoshoots, training, and travel may include overnight stays.
How You Will Make An Impact As the Marketing Specialist – Fashion, you will be the execution engine behind Varsity Spirit Fashion (VSF), Varsity All Star Fashion (VASF), and Varsity Performing Arts (VPA) marketing efforts. You’ll manage the marketing assets that bring our campaigns, events, and content to life.
Responsibilities
Own tactical execution of marketing assets and launch timelines for catalog and product launches
Maintain and update fashion‑related web pages across various domains, including B2B and D2C sites
Coordinate development of print advertising assets for multiple catalogs and tradeshows
Build and help manage lead forms, surveys, and QR codes to support campaigns, events, and sales team requests
Partner with the email team to develop compelling B2B and D2C promotion content and nurture campaigns
Coordinate with cross‑functional partners to keep project timelines, deliverables, and creative assets on track
Support social content development and execution for Varsity Performing Arts, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign priorities
Assist in planning and logistics for fashion‑related events, tradeshows, and photoshoots, including casting calls, model coordination, and giveaway/signage ordering
Oversee timelines and manage deliverables for digital advertising assets across multiple competitions
Assist with influencer and content creator coordination, including briefs, project communication, and fulfillment
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and creative partners to ensure smooth project handoffs and timely execution
Provide support for sales resources, asset development, and other special projects as assigned
Collaborate with sponsorships team to enhance partnership assets and identify new partnership opportunities
Qualifications
Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail; ability to refine copy for email, web, and event assets
Familiarity with marketing tools such as ESPs, lead form builders, or website CMS (WordPress experience a plus); training can be provided
Self‑starter with initiative to run projects and problem‑solve independently while collaborating as part of a team
Comfortable building relationships and communicating across teams, from creative design to event operations
Knowledge of or passion for cheer, dance, or band is a plus but not required
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
1–3 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or related field
Physical Requirements This job operates in a professional office environment. The role is largely sedentary, requiring the ability to sit or stand for long periods, attend meetings, and use office equipment (PC, laptop, telephone).
