Event Marketer at Celerant Technology
Location: Hybrid to Iselin, NJ office
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 per year
About the Role
We’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and creative Event Marketer to plan, execute, and manage a wide range of company events—including trade shows, our annual client conference, and internal sales and marketing gatherings. This role requires someone who excels at logistics, vendor management, and cross‑departmental collaboration, and who thrives in both strategic planning and hands‑on execution.
As an Event Marketer, you’ll be responsible for managing event budgets, ensuring flawless event delivery, and partnering with our marketing team to drive engagement and attendance. Your work will directly enhance our brand presence, strengthen client relationships, and support revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
Plan and oversee the company’s participation in multiple trade shows annually—from booking booth space to designing layouts and coordinating with internal teams or third‑party designers.
Manage all shipping and handling of booth materials, ensuring safe transport and proper packing for every event.
Coordinate with vendors on booth setup and breakdown.
Organize travel, lodging, and schedules for attending staff.
Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Managers to ensure all marketing materials, promotions, and graphics are accurate, complete, and available.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional assets and campaigns, including email, social media, and landing pages.
Lead the planning and management of the company’s yearly client conference—including selecting the city and venue, negotiating contracts with vendors, and managing the budget to control costs.
Schedule sessions with internal staff and partner organizations.
Collaborate with marketing on event‑specific campaigns.
Build and manage the event experience through CVENT or similar platforms.
Assist various department managers to organize their annual team week events, including travel arrangements, events, team dinners, and related activities.
Work with office managers to organize company celebrations, such as anniversary luncheons, holiday celebrations, etc.
Partner with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to track the annual marketing budget.
Oversee all department expenses, ensuring invoices and credit cards are processed and tracked.
Maintain relationships with key industry associations and trade organizations, securing co‑marketing opportunities.
Represent the company in partner programs and at industry events.
Manage production and distribution of printed marketing materials, working with external vendors.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of marketing and event initiatives.
What You Bring
Based in or within commuting distance of Iselin, NJ, with the ability to be in‑office twice weekly (or as needed).
3–5 years’ experience in event planning, trade show management, or conference coordination.
Strong skills in organization, logistics, and time management with the ability to handle multiple events and deadlines.
Proven vendor management and negotiation expertise.
Experience collaborating with marketing teams to drive event promotions across multiple channels (email, social, print).
Budget management experience, with a track record of cost control.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with vendors, partners, and cross‑functional teams.
Proficiency in CVENT (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, Monday.com, and HubSpot.
Flexibility to travel as needed and work extended hours during events.
