In this role, you’ll lead visual design projects from concept through execution, ensuring all creative output aligns with brand standards and supports business objectives. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally and contribute to strategic conversations that elevate our brand across platforms and ensure consistency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on strong execution, is detail‑oriented, strategic, and a critical thinker, and is passionate about turning ideas into compelling, on‑brand visuals. You’ll be hands‑on with design across digital and print, intersecting design and storytelling to create emotional connections with the Wellabe brand. The Senior Graphic Designer recognizes the powerful impact of the organization’s brand and continually looks for innovative ways to elevate and strengthen Wellabe’s visual presence. In this role, design concepts are transformed into compelling, high‑quality work that educates, inspires, and engages our target audiences by bringing the brand to life across every touch‑point. Essential Functions Strengthens Wellabe’s brand and visual identity by designing original, high‑impact print and digital marketing materials including web and social media graphics, brochures, flyers, presentations, advertisements, direct mail, signage, email templates, and newsletters. Collaborates cross‑functionally and within the Brand and Communications team to align visual and verbal messaging with business goals, discussing project scope, timelines, revisions, and feedback. Leads creative direction and development of high‑profile design initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with brand standards. Maintains, enforces, and helps evolve Wellabe’s brand identity and systems, promoting visual cohesion across all touchpoints and supporting consistency through organized asset libraries. Advises third‑party vendors on the proper brand usage for print and digital assets, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategy. Communicates clearly and proactively with stakeholders, providing timely updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Researches and recommends innovative design solutions and techniques to elevate team output and stay ahead of industry trends. Continually develops technical design skills through online learning and review of industry publications. Coordinates with print vendors and other departments as needed to obtain quotes and oversee the process for printing and promotional jobs. Success Profile Meticulous, strategic, and creative critical thinker with a strong commitment to accuracy and proactive error prevention. Solid foundational understanding of graphic design principles, processes, and best practices. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office 365. Consistently applies brand standards and content style guidelines, including basic AP style. Exceptional communication, time management, and project prioritization skills. Collaborative contributor who fosters trust, teamwork, and transparency and values giving and receiving constructive feedback. Deep knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy, with a working knowledge of ADA‑compliant design standards. Expert in brand systems, design strategy, and visual storytelling across digital and print media. Proven ability to manage complex projects, synthesizing input from multiple stakeholders to deliver cohesive, on‑brand solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 5+ years of professional design experience. Experience with video and animation storyboarding, Figma, email platforms, and UI/UX design principles is a plus.
