Job Description

Pay Range: $21.42hr - $26.42hr

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Public Relations Manager in all public relations efforts, from day-to-day tasks to broader brainstorming and creating targeted PR plans and influencer strategies.
  • Liaise with external agency partners to fulfill editorial requests and ensure the SGH PR department runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Assist in PR asset development (e.g., talking points, quotes, media alerts, trend pitches, etc.).
  • Maintain and update media lists.
  • Prepare PR recaps and reports.
  • Conduct ongoing influencer research.
  • Provide event support, including RSVP lists, media invitations, and organizing product displays.
  • Manage product order fulfillment for gifting and samples.
  • Handle operational requests such as communications to stores, receiving campaign assets, high-resolution images, credit requests, shipments, and messenger coordination.
  • Reconcile and process invoices, support finance processes, and assist with budget management.
  • Support product management, inventory, shipping, and logistics coordination.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and capture meeting notes.
  • Assist in planning, execution, and recapping of all PR and influencer activities.
  • Create, compile, and review detailed Excel and PowerPoint documents.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Assist in developing and implementing brand-specific PR plans and activities in local markets.
  • Ensure accuracy of press and social results tracking using DMR and Companion platforms.
  • Support PR asset development, when necessary (if not provided by global), including press releases, media alerts, talking points, and presentations.
  • Contribute to achieving strong results through editorial press, social/influencer programs, and paid editorial/media opportunities.
  • Provide general administrative support for PR activations and the team as needed.
  • Liaise with external agency partners in North America and LATAM to provide necessary PR assets (press releases, photos/videos, samples/seeding products, PR/influencer strategies, shipping documents) and collect results/recaps from those agencies to create comprehensive reports for the global team.

  • Outstanding project-management and strong follow-up skills.
  • Proven ability to complete time-sensitive tasks under minimal direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Media, Communications, or Business.
  • Previous in-house or agency PR experience in fashion/accessories preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • High degree of flexibility, adaptability, optimism, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong logistics, project-management, and follow-up abilities.
  • Existing knowledge of and interest in PR, media, and influencer landscapes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enjoys working with and supporting others.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, and demonstrates strong initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Travel may be required based on brand needs and events.

Additional Information

  • Experience working with DMR, CreatorIQ, or other press/social coverage tracking platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with influencer marketing is preferred.
