Position Summary
Harmelin Media is seeking a Paid Search Specialist to join our activation team. Search is at a pivotal moment, and with the integration of our paid and organic search teams, we are evolving our structure to stay ahead of an AI-driven landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, insights-driven group that plays a critical role in driving client performance and business outcomes.
We are open to candidates with 2–6 years of hands‑on experience developing and managing successful paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing). Whether you’re earlier in your career and eager to grow, or bring several years of deeper expertise, we encourage you to apply. Experience in SEO or CRO is a plus, and this role also provides opportunities to expand into these and other emerging areas within search, while collaborating closely with account teams, internal specialists, and platform partners.
Title and salary for position to be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Paid search media buying, specifically across Google Ads and Bing Ads
Design search strategy and structure, including keyword development and campaign build.
Interface with both account teams and clients regarding search strategy and performance to meet campaign objectives
Regularly communicate with internal planning teams, specialists across digital disciplines, and representatives from various search platforms and technologies.
Oversee day‑to‑day performance across campaigns, including monitoring, identifying and implementing optimizations
Achieve and maintain Google Ads, SA360, Microsoft Advertising Certifications
Learn about SEO, CRO, and other integrated search disciplines
Work with the Reporting & Analytics team to facilitate reporting and analysis
Review and reconcile media invoices using the agency billing system
Keep informed of relevant issues affecting the paid search and overall digital landscape
Other duties may be assigned as necessary to meet company needs
Keys to Success
2‑6 years paid search buying experience
Solid understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Bing
Basic understanding of Gemini, Kenshoo, Search Ads 360 preferred
Basic understanding of other search services preferred: SEO, CRO, Local Listings
Basic understanding of other digital advertising channels preferred (e.g. social, display, video)
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong organizational, time management, and multi‑tasking skills
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail; excellent problem‑solving skills; strategic mindset
Ability to work in a team environment while working on projects independently
Solid understanding of Excel
