Position: Senior Product Designer – Hybrid On‑Site, Dearborn, MI. 12+ month contract, $50‑62 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of Interaction Design, Service Design, Design Excellence, Information Architecture and proficiency in Figma.
• Lead, execute, optimize and adjust design work and processes based on stakeholder feedback.
• Guide the user experience across website strategy and web‑based software while collaborating with multiple product teams.
• Mentor designers in cross‑functional groups, providing design guidance and support.
• Advocate user‑centered design perspectives informed by business needs and technical feasibility.
• Ensure consistency, usability and accessibility across design efforts for multiple product units.
• Drive delivery of design work, raising the bar for human‑centered approaches.
• Collaborate with leaders and colleagues to define and execute strategy and projects.
• Engage in project planning and scoping to support business needs and design opportunities.
• Concept, design, test, launch and refine new products and services through systems thinking.
• Support data‑driven test & learn programs, incorporating analytics.
• Identify problems and solutions proactively with stakeholders.
• Support design leadership team with communication and presentation needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (additional education preferred).
• 3‑5+ years of experience (Designer 3 level).
• Proficiency in Figma, interaction design, information architecture, rapid prototyping, strategy and design polish.
• Strong knowledge of human‑centered design, accessibility and usability.
• Experience leading and mentoring design teams.
