Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated UX/UI Designer to join our team and help to enhance the user experience of our website. This role is pivotal in transforming our current content and design elements to create a more intuitive, accessible, and responsive website.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the redesign of the website to ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
- Collaborate with a team to revamp website content.
- Work within the overall design direction, focusing on user experience and accessibility.
- Craft content strategies that simplify navigation to key sections.
- Design content types and page layouts that enhance user experience, aiming for a maximum of two clicks for users to find the information they need.
- Lead major content overhauls and guide a team as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive website projects.
- Proficiency in UX tools such as FIGMA, Sketch, and InVision.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, ideally WCAG 2.0 compliance.
- Experience in content strategy and managing design elements.
- Visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design processes and decisions.
- E-Commerce experience is a nice-to-have.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with at least three days on-site as needed.
- Leadership skills to guide a team and spearhead major content overhauls.
