Overview:

The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated marketing professional with experience in multifamily housing, property management, or real estate marketing. This individual will support the marketing operations of a 20-property portfolio (7,500+ apartment units) by executing digital marketing, social media, and community engagement initiatives that enhance brand visibility and drive occupancy. This Marketing Coordinator position requires a balance of creative design, digital strategy, and organizational excellence. The role will collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, on-site property teams, and third-party vendors to ensure consistent branding and impactful marketing execution. This is a remote-hybrid role that requires occasional travel to properties for content creation, photoshoots, and community events.

Marketing Coordinator Job Duties:

Social Media & Digital Marketing

Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms to strengthen online presence and engagement.

Monitor social channels, respond to inquiries, and maintain consistent brand tone and standards.

Create and execute email marketing campaigns to promote community events, specials, and updates.

Track and analyze social and digital performance metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement.

Design and produce promotional items, flyers, on-site signage, and digital marketing materials.

Coordinate and execute property-level photoshoots to capture marketing content.

Ensure all collateral aligns with corporate branding and property-specific identity standards.

Website & Listing Management

Maintain and update community website content, ensuring information is accurate and engaging.

Manage Internet Listing Services (ILS) updates, ensuring listings reflect current pricing, photos, and availability.

Collaborate with vendors to enhance SEO performance and optimize website content for lead generation.

Resident Engagement & Retention

Assist with planning, organizing, and promoting resident events, open houses, and community engagement initiatives.

Partner with property teams to implement resident retention campaigns, referral programs, and seasonal promotions.

Support the on-site team in creating a positive resident experience through thoughtful communication and event coordination.

Reputation & Brand Management

Maintain consistent branding across all properties, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.

Monitor and respond to online reviews and resident feedback on Google, Apartments.com, and other review sites.

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to enhance brand visibility and public perception.

Reporting & Analytics

Compile monthly marketing performance reports summarizing occupancy trends, campaign results, and engagement metrics.

Track and analyze digital analytics (SEO, PPC, and social media) to evaluate ROI and inform marketing strategies.

Assist in budget tracking for property-level marketing initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in multifamily housing, property management, or real estate marketing preferred.

Strong writing, proofreading, and content creation skills.

Proficiency in Entrata, Click-up, Rentable, Maven AI, Canva, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), and social media management tools.

Knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, and digital advertising platforms is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple property marketing initiatives.

Willingness to travel to properties as needed for on-site marketing support.

Education and Experience:

1-3 years of marketing experience (preferably in real estate, property management, or hospitality).

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
