eNGINE
is hiring multiple Senior Product Designers to join our NYC-based fintech customer supporting one of their most critical financial products. This role sits at the intersection of complex systems design, user experience strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, with visibility to both external clients and internal business units. This individual must be able to work onsite in the financial district 4x/week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead with a user-centered mindset, ensuring design solutions address real user needs and behaviors through research and insight.
Develop and map end-to-end user journeys to identify key moments, pain points, and opportunities across multiple stakeholders and systems.
Design complex web interfaces and workflows that are functional, intuitive, and visually compelling.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into clear, feasible design solutions.
Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma and Miro, communicating interaction models and UI specifications.
Contribute to and expand global design systems, ensuring consistency across components and interfaces.
Translate complex system requirements into clear, structured design solutions.
Present and articulate design concepts effectively to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Mentor junior designers, promoting a collaborative, innovative team culture.
Required Qualifications
7–9 years of professional product design experience, with a strong emphasis on complex system or enterprise-level design.
Proven experience in regulated environments (finance, healthcare, insurance).
Advanced proficiency with Figma and Miro.
Strong understanding of interaction design, journey mapping, and design systems.
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to present to senior stakeholders.
Portfolio required — must showcase complex system design work relevant to this role.
