Job Description The Event Marketing Manager leads our event marketing efforts and drives the strategic planning and execution of all event initiatives as a key contributor within the marketing team. As the Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all aspects of event marketing at AlignOps. This includes customer-, partner-, and prospect-facing industry trade shows and conferences. You will play a key role in ensuring our brand presence is strong, aligned with our strategic goals, and delivers measurable results. You’ll report into the GTM Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, and demand generation, to ensure our events drive lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy that aligns with AlignOps' business goals and targets key audiences in the construction industry.
Own the planning, coordination, and execution of in-person and virtual events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and internal events.
Manage event budgets, timelines, logistics, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution.
Define event success metrics and lead post-event analysis to measure impact and continuously optimize future initiatives.
Team Collaboration
Partner across the marketing team to coordinate event strategy, planning, logistics, and best practices that align with broader campaign goals.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure event efforts integrate effectively with product launches, campaigns, and customer programs.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure alignment between the broader marketing team and event efforts.
Cross-functional collaboration
Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and content teams to create compelling event content, presentations, and materials.
Partner with demand generation and sales enablement to connect event engagement with pipeline creation and customer expansion opportunities.
Event Execution
Coordinate pre-event planning, event-day execution, and post-event follow-up activities.
Work closely with the sales and demand generation teams to ensure event campaigns are integrated into the overall marketing strategy, driving attendance and engagement.
Oversee event promotion strategies, including email marketing, social media, and landing pages, in collaboration with the digital marketing team.
Ensure on-brand, high-quality execution that reflects AlignOps’ standards and customer experience goals.
Lead Generation & ROI
Ensure each event contributes to lead generation and customer engagement, working closely with the demand generation team to track leads and measure ROI.
Monitor and report on event performance metrics, including lead conversion, attendee engagement, and return on investment (ROI).
Partner with sales to support lead follow-up efforts after each event, ensuring seamless communication and tracking.
Continuously refine event strategies based on performance insights and industry best practices.
Brand Presence & Awareness
Maintain and enhance AlignOps' presence at industry events, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning.
Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities that will increase brand visibility and industry authority.
Seek thought leadership opportunities—such as speaking engagements or panel participation—to further strengthen brand authority.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
Proven track record of planning and executing successful in-person and virtual events.
Experience managing or mentoring junior staff or specialists with strong leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams or external partners to achieve event objectives and deliver results.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
Strong understanding of event marketing tactics, lead generation, and ROI measurement.
Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to track event performance and lead conversions.
Proven ability to think strategically and creatively while being data-driven and focused on results.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage internal teams and external partners.
Experience in the construction or industrial sector is a plus but not required.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
Benefits & Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$85,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The AlignOps benefit program includes health, dental, and vision coverage. In addition, the company offers disability, life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
This is a full‑time remote position located in the United States. Employees hired within a designated radius of the office are expected to work on‑site according to a schedule set by management based on the requirements of their role.
