Job Summary/Description Western Mass News is seeking a friendly, positive, self‑motivated Sales Assistant to support the sales organization. The role requires a strong work ethic, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. The Sales Assistant helps Western Mass News’ local partners grow and strives to exceed customer expectations.

Duties/Responsibilities

Provide support to Sales Management and Sales Staff

Order entry and maintenance, including avails, proposals, and pre/post logs

Create PowerPoint sales presentations for clients and station initiatives

Daily management of inventory changes and program changes

Pull and provide detailed reports for management, sales staff, and clients

Create, prepare, and maintain sales collateral and packages for sales staff and other projects assigned by management

Assist traffic with order entry and copy

Coordinate with other departments on projects as needed

Assist with research, traffic, and programming functions within the sales department

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; college or technical degree preferred

Microsoft Office experience using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (required)

Strong organizational and phone skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines

Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with attention to detail
