NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent with 2–4 years’ experience in social media management, community management, or a similar role, AND a proven track record of growing and engaging online audiences across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, etc.). Strong English writing skills with a knack for short-form, punchy, and engaging copy, and an understanding of social media trends, memes, and pop culture - while keeping brand voice front and center. Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar). Experience with analytics - knowing how to measure performance, spot insights, and report on results. Driver’s license: A valid license is a must. Will also count in your favour if you have

A Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media. Experience with basic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) or video editing for reels and TikTok. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Acting as the friendly, approachable voice of the brand across all social media platforms. • Creating, scheduling, and publishing content that resonates with our audience and builds brand connection. • Monitoring channels, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, authentic way. • Engaging with followers, influencers, and communities to spark conversations and build relationships. • Tracking performance metrics and providing regular insights and recommendations. • Staying on top of industry trends, viral content, and emerging platforms. • Collaborating with design and content teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling. • Managing community initiatives such as polls, live events, and challenges to boost engagement.
