Overview Designer II at KTGY is part of the conceptual design team focused on the early stages of projects. Designers help develop conceptual design and entitlement sets, coordinate with the team for feedback, and participate in the aesthetic development of projects to craft memorable places that enhance people’s lives.
Base pay range $35.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Responsibilities Your Impact
KTGY's Designer fills an important role as part of the conceptual design team focused on the early stages of projects. Designers captain the development of conceptual design and entitlement sets, coordinate with other team members as needed for feedback and direction, and participate in the aesthetic development of projects, crafting memorable places that enhance people's lives.

Design - With the project team, develops aesthetic principles that reflect a project's narrative and purpose. Develops internal workflow and general understanding of order, timeline and tasks to support project milestones.
Collaboration - Actively begins to share ideas and best practices with others, particularly Project Associates. Develops collegial relationships with technical colleagues.
Care - Develops the ability to balance "competing goods" including a building's effect on its occupants and the environment around it.
Partnership - Interprets and articulates clients' goals and needs to the project team. Assists in developing strategies to meet client objectives, while helping to manage client expectations. Verifies and maintains accuracy of key project data, ensuring alignment between client requirements and design deliverables.
