Your Impact KTGY’s Interior Designer performs assignments with instructions as to the general results expected from a Senior Designer or Project Leader. Implements design into CAD format (AutoCAD or Revit) and presentation materials. Contributes to coordination efforts required to produce a set of Construction Documents and FF&E Specifications; namely the research, communication, and documentation required to execute the project effectively.

– Possesses a strong understanding of design principles and theory. Demonstrates evolving creative interior design skills, including concept development, hand sketching, and the selection of colors, materials, finishes, and furniture. Has experience with the design process, including design documentation and FF&E specifications, as well as color and material selection. Shows a strong understanding of color, materials, and finishes.
Collaboration
– Under supervision and guidelines, tackles design and technical challenges within large projects. Develops design solutions in a broader context through collaborative efforts involving outside consultants. Ensures daily tasks are completed and assists in supervising Junior Designers and Design Interns. Meets regularly with the Senior Designer or Project Leader to discuss design direction, general tasks, project challenges, schedules, and upcoming client meetings and deadlines.
Care
– Learns methods and best practices from other team members that support project success. Works to become a trusted team member and demonstrates an understanding of the design process and its key elements.
Partnership
– Displays interest in developing preliminary client interactions and seeks to build industry relationships. Assists in the preparation of client meetings and may participate in presenting elements of project designs.
