KVEO CBS 4 in Harlingen/Brownsville/McAllen, TX (DMA 80) is hiring an investigative multimedia journalist to join the award‑winning “4 Investigates” team. The station’s brand is “in‑depth, investigative.” As a multimedia journalist, you will work with the Investigative Producer on short‑ and long‑term investigations, pursue follow‑up reports, break investigative angles when a major news story arises, and cover specific investigative beats. You will consistently tackle incoming tips, uncover problems and hold those responsible accountable. Requirements Knowledge of data analysis, public information requests, backgrounding, interviewing subjects/sources, digital storytelling, and shooting/editing video. Team collaboration with other investigators. Meeting deadlines. Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and organizational skills. Proficiency in digital video editing. Confidence in ad‑libbing presentations without scripts or teleprompters. Exceptional research skills. Preferred bilingual – English and Spanish. Flexibility to work any shift.
