Job Description:
- Participates in designing and conducting user experience research studies to support user interface design and recommend usability improvements.
Core Responsibilities
- Provides usability services to business and IT teams for web and mobile applications across multiple platforms, for low to mid-scale scope projects.
- Conducts studies and reviews research on human factors response to bring value to the business, technology, and processes.
- Supports and/or conducts user interviews and contextual inquiries to identify user needs and gather user feedback.
- Ensures privacy and conducts sessions in a professional manner.
- Collects data, analyzes, and summarizes results.
- Assists in presenting to design teams and decision makers.
- Contributes actionable suggestions based on knowledge of target user base and usability best practices.
- Educates project teams and crew regarding usability's purpose and value.
- Composes an analysis of findings and makes recommendations for user interface enhancements.
- Presents findings to project teams.
- May present to senior leaders if needed.
- Socializes test/research plans with key project team and business partners.
- Discusses adoption of critical usability findings. Works to integrate usability findings into practice by developing buy-in from the business.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Three years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field.
