Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

We are a growing firm, looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone who has 2+ years of experience, with marketing/advertising law experience.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience
• Previous marketing/advertising law experience
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Illinois

Responsibilities:

• Review advertising content, including websites, social media, TV, and print, to ensure compliance with truth-in-advertising laws.
• Assist clients gather and provide evidence to support their advertising claims, especially for claims that are heavily regulated (e.g., environmental, health, or "Made in USA" claims).
• Provide guidance on online and mobile advertising, influencer marketing agreements, data privacy, sweepstakes, and sponsorships.
• Help with brand messaging and protecting intellectual property rights in marketing campaigns.

The annual salary for this position is between $150k-180k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
