The Role

This is a rare opportunity for a technically strong, strategically minded architect or designer to step into a leadership position with real ownership potential. The Studio Manager / Production Lead will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of Mendil + Meyer, ensuring projects are delivered with precision, clarity, and care, while freeing the founders to focus on early‑stage concept development and new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Mendil + Meyer studio, ensuring clarity across project schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
• Lead architectural and interior design production across all active projects.
• Manage project resourcing and workflow for the team (in‑house and external collaborators).
• Maintain quality control and consistency in drawing standards, documentation, and consultant coordination.
• Implement efficient systems and processes to improve project delivery and profitability.
• Support founders by translating conceptual design into actionable deliverables.
• Serve as a mentor and leader, developing the team’s skills, confidence, and accountability.
• Participate in business planning and growth strategy discussions, with a clear pathway to partnership for the right individual.

About You

• Licensed Architect (or on path) or experienced Senior Designer/Project Manager with deep technical knowledge and leadership experience.
• 8–15 years of experience in a medium to large architecture or design studio, with a hospitality and/or commercial focus.
• Expert in Revit and project management software.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and consultant coordination.
• Systems‑oriented mindset with the ability to create order out of complexity.
• Entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a creative, evolving, fast‑paced environment.
• Deep respect for craft, precision, and purpose.
