Senior Technical Writer/Developer (Salesforce Web Support) with Security Clearance

Location: Fort Meade, MD. Company: Akima Infrastructure Services (Compass Point).

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 (On-site).

Job Duties

• Research, write, edit, and proofread technical documents such as manuals, procedures, specifications.
• Ensure technical documentation is accurate, complete, and meets editorial and government specifications.
• Develop white papers with input from SMEs, addressing common issues and recommending workarounds.
• Assist in collecting and organizing information for user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, optimization suggestions, and reports.
• Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, and technical publications.
• Work with developers and engineering team to create/maintain Salesforce web pages capturing FAQs and supporting cloud capabilities across vendors.
• Develop Salesforce workflows to manage customer interactions, including email forwarding, feedback forms, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 10 years of recent relevant experience (5 years in Computer Science or related engineering discipline).
• BA/BS (or equivalent).
• Information Assurance Management (IAM) IAM-III certification.
• Interim Secret clearance required; active DoD Secret clearance preferred.
