Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Corporate Recruiter @ Zeus Fire and Security Role summary Lead and grow a team producing code-compliant design and engineering documentation for fire protection, intrusion, access control and video systems. Coordinate with sales, operations, project managers, contractors and authorities to deliver compliant, timely design packages and support the project lifecycle from concept to closeout.
Key responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage the design team; set SLAs and report on performance.
Implement and maintain SOPs, templates, and a harmonized file/symbol library.
Review and approve design drawings for code compliance and best practices.
Produce complete design packages: plans, one-line and riser diagrams, details, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents.
Perform voltage drop and battery calculations; maintain project records.
Collaborate with sales, project management, external consultants, contractors, and AHJs during design and construction phases.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience with fire protection & security systems and construction industry familiarity.
NICET FAS Level IV required (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
Knowledge of I‑Codes (IBC, IMC), NFPA standards (70, 72, 13, etc.), and local codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; Revit and other design tools preferred.
Strong communication, independent judgment, and collaborative mindset.
1+ year technical/business management experience.
