Cash App It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world's relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible. Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We've been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy. The Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer with deep visual craft and AI fluency to join our Trust team at Cash App, with a focus on Access & Identity. This team is reimagining how millions of customers securely access their accounts, verify their identity, and maintain control over their financial data. From authentication and account recovery to identity verification and privacy controls, this role is about shaping seamless, trusted, and experiences that protect customers while enabling frictionless access to the Cash App ecosystem. As a Senior Product Designer, you'll bring visual craft, product thinking, AI-native design approaches, and strategic foresight to one of Cash App's most critical customer journeys: secure access and identity management. You'll partner with designers and cross-functional teammates to own key parts of the experience—from framing opportunities to prototyping AI-enhanced solutions that make accessing Cash App secure, effortless, and empowering. Responsibilities
Shape the design vision for Cash App's access and identity experience, including authentication, account recovery, identity verification, and privacy controls. Partner closely with product, engineering, trust & safety, ML, data science, and research teams to define what we should build and why. Translate complex problem spaces (biometric authentication, identity verification, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance) into clear, intuitive, and experiences. Leverage AI-native design approaches: use LLM architecture knowledge and AI tools to rapidly prototype intelligent identity flows and adaptive authentication patterns. Explore and deliver innovative solutions using Cursor, V0, and Figma Make to vibe-code interfaces, generate design variations, and accelerate iteration. Influence product strategy by framing opportunities, championing customer needs and safety, and elevating design thinking across the team. Qualifications
8+ years of experience crafting impactful digital products, with demonstrated work in trust, security, identity, or authentication experiences. A bias toward ownership: you thrive when given responsibility for meaningful product areas and driving them forward. Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, with a strong portfolio demonstrating customer-centric trust, security, or identity experiences. AI-native fluency: deep comfort using Cursor for vibe-coding, V0 for rapid prototyping, and Figma Make for design automation. Knowledge of LLM architecture and AI capabilities: you understand how to design for and with AI, including conversational interfaces, intelligent assistance, and adaptive flows. Proven ability to drive design and strategy within complex product areas, especially in sensitive domains like security and privacy. Strong product and systems thinking: able to connect the dots across customer journeys, regulatory requirements, fraud prevention systems, and identity infrastructure. Experience working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, researchers, and trust & safety teams to shape product direction and push projects forward with velocity. Comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, global environment where security and user experience must be carefully balanced. Please submit a portfolio of work with your application. If your portfolio is password protected, be sure to include it in your application or resume.
