FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Brooklyn College, a senior College of the City University of New York (CUNY), invites applications for a Lecturer in Marketing in the Department of Management, Marketing, & Entrepreneurship within the Murray Koppelman School of Business with a starting date in August 2026.

Within this diverse and intellectually stimulating environment, the Department of Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship in the Murray Koppelman School of Business, is home to faculty as well as industry experts and staff who are committed to providing students with the knowledge and skills in business management necessary to succeed in a wide range of professional careers in small and large companies as well as in non‑for‑profit organizations.
The department is known for innovative programs that aim to prepare students for careers by strengthening their critical thinking, information literacy, communication, data analysis, data visualization, and ethical reasoning skills. The department has also been a leader in developing several multidisciplinary programs in collaboration with liberal arts departments.
To further strengthen its academic offerings and continue fostering student success, the department seeks a dynamic and dedicated educator to join its faculty.
Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses
Developing and organizing course content, syllabi, assignments, and examinations
Assessing and grading student work, providing constructive feedback
Providing academic and career advising
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum
A master?s degree in a business‑related field is required.
More than 4 years of experience teaching full‑time at a college
Demonstrated teaching and service excellence
Experience teaching graduate and undergraduate level marketing courses
Consistent and dedicated service to the department
Implemented AI Literacy training for students
Fostered external engagement with industry
Preferred
Implemented career connected learning in courses
Utilized Blackboard, Brightspace or other learning management systems
Experience teaching online, hybrid, and in‑person courses
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Sponsorship will not be offered for this position.
COMPENSATION $76,658 - $91,753; Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
