Position Overview
Brooklyn College, a senior college of the City University of New York (CUNY), invites applications for a Lecturer in Marketing in the Department of Management, Marketing, & Entrepreneurship within the Murray Koppelman School of Business. The position will commence in August 2026. The location is Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses.
Develop and organize course content, syllabi, assignments, and examinations.
Assess and grade student work, providing constructive feedback.
Provide academic and career advising.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in a business‑related field is required.
More than 4 years of full‑time teaching experience at a college.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching and service.
Experience teaching graduate and undergraduate marketing courses.
Consistent and dedicated service to the department.
Implemented AI Literacy training for students.
Fostered external engagement with industry.
Preferred Qualifications
Implemented career‑connected learning in courses.
Utilized Blackboard, Brightspace, or other learning management systems.
Experience teaching both online, hybrid, and in‑person courses.
Compensation Lecturer: $76,658 - $91,753 per year Lecturer–Doctoral Schedule: $82,389 - $92,454 per year
