As we strive to improve the communities where we live, work, and play, we need a talented individual to drive marketing submittals for a range of building types. You will be responsible for managing the pursuit process from premarketing through interview and will direct the development, organization, and production of marketing materials. If you are highly‑organized, detail‑oriented, and have an eye for creativity and design, this job might be for you.

Our team of Marketing Coordinators is organized and thorough; when it comes to submittals, we prod, push, and polish our responses from initiation through decision. You will work directly with Building Engineering Services marketing leadership, market sector leadership, principals, managing principals, and other leaders locally in the Southeast and in various offices and regions.

Responsibilities

Lead a pursuit from initiation through qualification, proposal, interview, and selection phases, including all submittals whether print or electronic.

Manage large pursuit teams and high‑pressure deadlines with diligence.

Understand the required experience, knowledge, and project types required of the program.

Work directly with the project manager and marketer/business developer and coordinate with subcontractors and subject matter experts.

Collab with internal staff such as writers and graphic designers.

Evaluate content, both technical and non‑technical, and edit proposal sections.

Complete government forms, client questionnaires, and qualifying statements.

Gather information on past project experience and develop personnel resumes.

Maintain accurate pursuit status reports in CRM system.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ document layout and production experience.

Experience in proposal planning and coordination.

Strong writing ability, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success.

Quick self‑starter, team‑oriented, and able to work with different personalities and professional styles.

Experience in the A/E/C industry.

Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in‑person.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.

Demonstrated “self‑starter” with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
