Employment Status Employment Status Full Time Department Department Marketing and Communications Job Summary The incumbent reports to the Graphic Designer II for Marketing and Communication. He/she will work to fulfill day-to-day requests and execute projects. The incumbent should possess strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for graphic design. This candidate should possess experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms. The ideal candidate will be able to manage their workflow and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print production, social media platforms, and the web Ability to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously Strong analytical, written verbal communication skills and attention to detail Able to work on a team, “can do” attitude, and work independently on projects Adaptable to working within tight deadlines Motion graphics and video editing experience a plus Essential Job Functions
Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs. Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print, and digital media. Design and create attractive online and print assets to drive social engagement, website traffic, email campaigns, social, print, and banner ads. Participate and support creative ideations and generate new concepts. Create projects from concept to completion. Provides design proofs for review and approval. Other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent education in graphic design, fine or visual arts, digital media or related field.
