Coordinator, Platform & Content Operations

A little bit about our team:

The Video Strategy & Operations team at Warner Music Global Catalog is responsible for maximizing the value of our catalog at video and fingerprint partners with a primary focus on YouTube. We are a hybrid platform and content management team passionate about delivering revenue results, channel growth, and promotional visibility for legendary artists via platform optimization, content development, creative marketing, strategic partnerships, and rights management.

Your role:

This role is an opportunity to develop foundational expertise in Digital Platform Operations. You will be hands on creating a high volume of visual audio content, publishing videos, optimizing the presentation of channels, videos, and playlists, and deftly managing a high volume of channel and rights management operations tasks. Strong project management skills and a keen attention to detail is needed to ensure our uploads are flawless and on time, our content pipeline is up to date, and operational tasks are resolved thoroughly and swiftly.

Here you’ll get to:

Develop expert proficiency in YouTube platform management tools and lead on video publishing and optimization, channel optimization, and playlisting

Ensure new and remastered video content is released on time by shepherding assets through our digital supply chain and communicating with stakeholders along the way

Use in‑house technology tools to develop a high volume of visual‑audio content every week, and help curate programming based on your music knowledge and taste

Develop fluency with 150+ channels and their content inventories, and execute a variety of channel and content operations tasks

Maintain and keep current a number of key channel and video tracking documents, including channel access trackers and video release schedules

Evaluate YouTube channels and make recommendations for improvements

Develop proficiency with YouTube Rights Management protocols and tools and execute fingerprint claiming updates, content protection requests, and other rights management tasks

Use YouTube analytics to research performance, identify trends, and derive insights about our content and our audiences

Contribute to team best practice documentation, guidance, and new workflow and creative tech tool development

Contribute to creative marketing and content development brainstorms

Collaborate with strategic partners to execute optimization initiatives

Assist with team analysis and data reporting projects (quantitative and qualitative)

Assist with administrative support tasks such as processing invoices, routing assets (video, audio, and text files), and product metadata research as needed

Assist on NYC‑based video productions as needed

About you:

Highly‑organized and meticulous with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines while managing a high volume of deliverables

Practical familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, or META, ideally gained in a work setting.

Experience and comfort using spreadsheets to track deliverables; fluency with Google Workspace.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to positively communicate and collaborate effectively within the record label ecosystem.

Demonstrated ability to maintain prompt and proactive communication standards, ensuring timely engagement and follow‑up across both email and chat platforms.

Creative with a passion for music discovery.

We’d love it if you also had:

A Bachelor’s degree

2+ years of experience in the entertainment or music industry

Photoshop, Premiere Pro, OpusClip and/or CapCut experience

Experience with YouTube and/or YouTube Certifications

Knowledgeable about current social media platforms and online trends
