Our client, a music and podcast streaming company in NYC, is looking for a Media Associate Account Manager for a hybrid long-term contract. This person will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across digital, radio, and mobile channels for the political landscape. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in media planning, buying, or account management who’s eager to grow their career in advertising. The Media Associate Account Manager will partner closely with Account Managers to deliver high-quality campaigns for advertisers and agencies, driving revenue and client satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
This is a hybrid long-term contract and requires 3-days/week onsite in Manhattan.
Responsibilities
Assist Account Managers with the execution of media campaigns across digital, radio, and mobile platforms.
Build media plans and proposals based on client objectives and budgets.
Create and manage insertion orders, ensuring all campaign details are accurate and up to date.
Coordinate creative asset delivery and ensure proper deployment across ad‑serving systems.
Monitor campaign pacing and performance to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Conduct research and compile audience, competitive, and market insights to inform media recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any campaign delivery or reporting issues.
Support post‑campaign reporting and analysis to assess campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and agency partners through clear and proactive communication.
Assist in identifying opportunities to upsell or expand client business.
Required Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in media planning, buying, or account management (digital, radio, or mobile preferred).
Strong understanding of media concepts, campaign workflows, and ad‑serving technologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and media planning tools.
Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with comfort in client‑facing interactions.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
