Mechanical Designer – Hybrid | Plymouth, MN

What you’ll do
Create and develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks and proprietary design tools.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to customize products for client‑specific applications.
Support automation and configuration processes to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Maintain accurate fabrication, purchase, and engineering documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve design and production challenges with a practical, hands‑on approach.
Contribute to ongoing process improvement and automation initiatives within the design department.
What you bring
Degree, diploma, or certificate in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).
Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software (academic, internship, or professional).
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in documentation and BOM creation.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product design, or sheet metal fabrication.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
Work arrangement This hybrid position requires 2–3 days onsite each week at the Plymouth, MN facility. The remaining days may be worked remotely, based on team needs and performance. Candidates should reside within commuting distance and be comfortable with a flexible onsite schedule.
