Role/Responsibilities
Design pressure vessels, headers, and heat exchanger shells for HVAC systems using ASME Section VIII and related standards.
Prepare detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings in CAD software SolidWorks.
Conduct stress analysis and thickness calculations (Hand calculations) based on internal/external pressure, temperature, and material properties.
Collaborate with process engineers to optimize thermal and mechanical performance.
Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and coordinate with procurement and fabrication teams.
Review vendor designs and ensure compliance with specifications and safety codes.
Support product cost estimation, weight analysis, and design-to-manufacturing initiatives.
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement programs.
Pay and Benefits Pay Range Minimum: $38.48 per hour
Pay Range Maximum: $50 per hour

Compensation and Benefits A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
