Marketing Programs and Events Coordinator
ADAMH Board of Franklin County
ADAMH is seeking its next Marketing Programs and Events Coordinator. In this role, you will coordinate marketing and communication programs and events, including sponsorships and mini grants, to advance mental health awareness, reduce stigma across Franklin County and enhance visibility of ADAMH and its network of provider agencies.
What you’ll do:
Manage the mini-grant and sponsorship program to enhance ADAMH’s visibility in the community. Select the mini-grant committee, lead the mini-grant committee in monthly discussions regarding applications, present recommendations to the CEO, work with mini-grant recipients to ensure proper brand representation, manage the annual community funding budget in partnership with the fiscal agent to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting for mini-grants and sponsorships.
Coordinate publicity for mini-grants, sponsorships and special events with communications team.
Coordinate ADAMH special events (in person and virtual), including the Annual Meeting. Manages event logistics, including site selection, vendor selection, contracting, program development and execution.
Coordinate on-site participation for ADAMH-sponsored community events (e.g. African American Male Wellness Walk, NAMI Walk). Coordinate staff, provider and board of trustees’ participation in events and work on event promotion with the communications team. Communicate with event organizers, coordinating logistics and ensuring appropriate resources and representation.
Manage distribution lists for external events.
Coordinate purchasing and tracking of expenses/payments related to promotional items, mini grants, sponsorships and ADAMH special events.
Support maintenance of current inventory of promotional materials and supplies.
Support coordination of external requests for ADAMH speakers.
Support department reporting, including monthly board reports, year-end reports, and collection of staff surveys and feedback
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Must be willing to undertake some travel.
Other duties as assigned.
What we're looking for:
Education:
Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
Experience:
Two (2) years’ work experience in grant or community funding programs, event coordination, marketing, communications, or community engagement.
Skills:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, functions, pivot tables, and formatting.
Knowledge of event coordination, community engagement, and brand representation principles.
Knowledge of budgeting and reporting practices related to community funding, sponsorships, and grants.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills; personable, collaborative, able to build relationships with diverse staff, vendors, and community partners.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets efficiently.
Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to community service and engagement.
