We are looking for a motivated, creative, and results‑oriented self‑starter to join our Developer Marketing team—a strategic group that owns messaging, positioning, and the Go‑to‑Market strategy for all DigitalOcean products.

What You’ll Be Doing

Take key products and programs to market—such as Migrations, shared services like billing, identity management, and custom roles—by defining and executing GTM strategy.

Work with product teams to translate functionality into crisp marketing messages for technical personas.

Develop product positioning and detailed launch execution plans.

Collaborate with Growth and Product teams to design programs that drive product adoption.

Help sales and solution architects communicate the value proposition and sell our products.

Create enablement assets for sales, demand generation, and partner channels.

Apply cloud infrastructure pricing and packaging knowledge to optimize product pricing tiers.

Implement creative tactics to boost launch traction.

Identify the business customers and use cases best served by DigitalOcean products.

Continuously test and refine messaging through web updates, landing pages, and targeted email campaigns.

Shape an overarching cloud platform narrative that connects developers and business customers.

Produce compelling content across mediums such as product pages, blogs, emails, social media, and press releases.

Be the go‑to person for all aspects of the product and platform narrative—including events, keynotes, and partner engagements.

What We’ll Expect From You

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering, mathematics); MBA is a plus.

7+ years of experience in technical product marketing or product management.

Experience with Kubernetes and developer platform products is preferred.

Deep understanding of the cloud landscape and ability to position products for business use cases.

Research‑oriented and analytical mindset that uses data to inform stakeholders and marketing tactics.

Extraordinary communication skills with a track record of navigating complex, unstructured, cross‑functional environments.

Comfortable interacting with executives and influencing outcomes, sharing insights, and challenging ideas constructively.

Excellent storytelling and writing skills.

Compensation Range

$111,000 - $140,000

This is a remote role.
