The Digital Marketing Specialist, Social and Paid Media, will plan, develop, and execute organic and paid digital marketing campaigns for MWI Animal Health’s global animal health brands, with a focus on Securos (US, UK, Nordics). This role involves managing and growing brand awareness through strategic content creation, paid media optimization, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in storytelling, social media management, and performance marketing, with the ability to balance creativity and analytics to drive measurable audience growth and engagement. Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive social and paid media strategies aligned with business goals. Manage multi-channel digital campaigns across social, search, and display to maximize ROI. Create, publish, and optimize engaging photo, video, and written content for multiple platforms. Capture and document real-world events (including wet labs) for compelling storytelling. Oversee content calendars, community engagement, and audience interaction. Conduct audience research, applying data and psychological insights for deeper connection. Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement. Manage budgets and allocate spend strategically for optimal advertising performance. Stay current with social media platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices. Partner with cross-functional teams to align content strategies with broader marketing goals. Use analytics tools to measure engagement, reach, conversions, and business impact. Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields, or equivalent experience. 4–6 years of digital marketing experience across social media, SEM/SEO, and display advertising. Proven ability to manage paid campaigns and measure ROAS. Hands-on expertise with video/photo production, editing, and content creation. Demonstrated track record of growing and engaging B2B social media audiences. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and performance insights. Proficiency in Google Web Suite (Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.). Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to travel and work onsite near HQ as needed for content capture and events. Nice to Have
Background or familiarity with the animal health or veterinary industry. Comfort with medical procedures and cadavers for event coverage. Veterinarian experience or understanding of veterinary audience pain points. Experience distinguishing between personal and commercial brand growth strategies. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Prior campaign or design experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting. EEO
