We are looking for a
Senior Water Resources Stream Designer
to join our Watershed Practice team at
Ardurra .

Primary Function Design stream restoration and stabilization projects that improve watershed health, restore natural hydrology, protect utilities, and support ecological balance. Engage with engineers, ecologists, and planners to develop sustainable solutions for urban stream systems. Provide guidance to junior engineers on managing runoff, preventing flooding, and safeguarding water quality.
Primary Duties
Design stream restoration, stabilization, and enhancement projects using geomorphic and ecological principles.
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as SWMM, HEC‑RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS tools.
Prepare construction documents including plan sets, grading plans, erosion/sediment control plans, and technical specifications.
Conduct site evaluations and assist with environmental impact assessments.
Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative watershed planning and stormwater management solutions.
Assist in field inspections, data collection, and site assessments.
Participate in public outreach, stakeholder engagement, and project presentations as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related discipline.
Approximately eight or more years of experience in water resources and stream restoration or stabilization.
Experience with stormwater modeling software (HEC‑RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS applications.
PE certification (or ability to obtain within one year) is preferred but not required.
