Opportunity Jack Morton is a brand experience agency that reimagines experience across live, virtual, and hybrid formats. We are looking for an experienced Producer with B2B events experience to ensure production aspects of programs are successfully delivered to the client.

Responsibilities

Hybrid on-site work in the Detroit office 3 days a week.

Travel for events, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Plan, execute, and deliver projects and programs flawlessly and on budget.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, external partners, and suppliers to manage effective communications.

Maintain a “no surprises” approach, keeping internal and external stakeholders continuously up to date.

Manage crew and supplier travel plans and onsite management.

Manage site security and product security.

Maintain physical deliverable inventories across teams.

Manage resources and negotiate external resources as needed.

Assist in developing project budgets, reconciling costs, and mitigating third‑party costs.

Develop and actively manage vendor/freelance talent relationships to ensure best available talent and pricing.

Qualifications

College degree and 5+ years of live event production management.

Strong program management, organizational, and communication skills.

Demonstrated production competencies: client focus, effectiveness, attention to detail, flexibility, professional confidence, and accountability for results.

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and/or project elements.

Familiarity with event venues, production companies, staffing, unions, catering, etc.

Experience with AV, staging, lighting, audio, and video/streaming technology is a plus.

Experience as a stage manager and/or show caller is a plus.

Must be local to the Detroit area with reliable transportation and able to lift 50+ lbs.

Willing to execute assigned responsibilities on weekends and/or evenings if required.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Travel requirement: Up to 30% annually with the ability to travel to event sites for extended periods.

Local to Detroit and hybrid work in the office 3 days a week.
