Creative Director, Copywriter TCS Interactive
Team: Creative (Brand + Experience) | Reports to: Group Creative Director
This role is for creatives who refuse to choose between craft and performance. TCS Interactive pairs enterprise‑grade engineering with world‑class creativity to turn data, personalization, AI and other systems into brand platform ideas that earn attention and drive outcomes. Our ambition is work that wins Lions for craft and Effies for performance.
You’ll be part of the founding creative team building something new. Working directly with our Group Creative Directors, you’ll be hands‑on across breakthrough brand campaigns and shippable digital experiences. As a maker‑leader you’ll lead concepting sessions, craft the work yourself, and raise the bar for the team around you.
This is a builder role. You’ll receive direct mentorship from senior leadership, access to agency‑grade engineering, and real input into how we work. The trade‑off is that you’re building the practice while producing the work—high output, high growth, high visibility.
Responsibilities
Craft & Execution
You’ll lead ideation and bring concepts to life across every touchpoint.
- Generate high‑volume concepts that ladder to the organizing idea—from brand platform through social, activation, and product flows.
- Own craft execution: write scripts, art‑direct shoots, direct interactive experiences, cut social edits. Fluency in generative‑AI tools is a big plus. You’ll stay hands‑on until the work ships.
- Present work internally and to clients with clarity and conviction; defend creative decisions and incorporate feedback without losing the idea.
- Use contemporary tools to move fast: boards, Figma prototypes, gen‑AI exploration. Know when to polish for craft and when to ship for speed.
- Build reusable systems as you go: design templates, tone guides, motion patterns to make the next round easier and smarter.
Digital & Interactive
Brand ideas need to work in‑market, not just win in the deck.
- Direct the creation of end‑to‑end digital experiences (web/app/email) that extend the brand platform; collaborate with UX, product, and engineering to ship.
- Connect creative choices to business outcomes: click‑through, conversion, engagement. Learn what works and iterate.
- Partner with Strategy, Production, and Engineering to scope work, manage timelines, and ship on schedule.
- Contribute to team rituals, creative standards, and new‑business efforts; help shape how this team works.
- Mentor junior creatives; create an environment where people do their best work.
Desired Attributes
- Experience in regulated categories where every word is lawyered (finance, healthcare, pharma, gen‑AI).
- Designed and shipped digital experiences, not just concepted them.
- Love the making as much as the thinking.
- Built a case study from scratch and walked a room through it.
- Energized by feedback, iteration, and building something new— not just maintaining what exists.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years at agencies or studios that win, with 2+ years leading work as a CD or ACD.
- Portfolio of recognized brand campaigns and shipped digital work—show ideas that moved the needle culturally or commercially.
- Collaborated across disciplines (strategy, UX, engineering, production) to bring integrated ideas to life.
- Presented work to clients and stakeholders; ability to tell the story of the idea and bring people along.
- Led creative on work that shipped, not just pitched.
