Overview

The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy seeks a semester lecturer (associated track) to develop and deliver coursework related to Scientific Writing and Clinical Trial Protocol Development remotely within the MS Translational Pharmacology program during spring, summer, and autumn semesters. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the teaching mission of The Ohio State University and possess relevant work experience directly related to protocol writing and clinical trial management in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or teach graduate curriculum courses as assigned.
  • Create lecture materials, facilitate learning activities, design assessments (quizzes, exams, assignments, and homework if applicable), offer weekly office hours, oversee teaching assistants (if assigned), submit grades, and resolve ongoing student or course issues.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Required: Doctoral degree or equivalent; prior experience working in the pharmaceutical field related to clinical protocol development and implementation and trial oversight within the clinical space.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree related to Drug Development, Regulatory Sciences, or Clinical Trial Management.
  • Experience with development and teaching of remote coursework at the graduate level focused on the pharmaceutical sciences and regulation.
  • Experience independently managing a course using the Canvas learning management system.
