Pharmacy Lecturer - SEM - Scientific Writing Clinical Trial Protocol Development

The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy seeks a semester lecturer (associated track) to develop and deliver coursework related to Scientific Writing and Clinical Trial Protocol Development remotely within the MS Translational Pharmacology program during spring, summer, and autumn semesters. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the teaching mission of The Ohio State University and possess relevant work experience directly related to the protocol writing and clinical trial management in the pharmaceutical industry.
Performance Objectives
- Develops and/or teaches courses in the graduate curriculum courses as assigned.
- Responsible for the creation of lecture materials, facilitation of learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, assignments, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, oversight of teaching assistant(s) (if assigned), submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: Doctoral degree or equivalent; prior experience working in the pharmaceutical field related to clinical protocol development and implementation and trial oversight within the clinical space.
Desired: Advanced degree related to Drug Development, Regulatory sciences, or Clinical Trial Management Experience with development and teaching of remote coursework at the graduate-level focused on the pharmaceutical sciences and regulation. Experience with independently managing a course using the Canvas learning management system.

Department Information
The mission of the faculty, scientists, students and staff of the Division of Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology is the discovery and development of drug therapies for the treatment of human disease. The Division of Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology researchers are leaders in the use of state‑of‑the‑art technologies to conduct research centered around cancer therapeutics, cell protective therapies, drug delivery systems, and drug toxicity.
