Responsibilities
Take products to market aligned with key developer products like Kubernetes and Application Platform, prioritizing projects as needed.
Work with product teams to distill key functionality and benefits into crisp product marketing messages targeting technical personas.
Develop product messaging, positioning, and detailed launch execution plans for successful GTM.
Collaborate with Growth and Product teams to define cross‑sell/up‑sell programs that drive meaningful product adoption.
Partner with the revenue organization to enable sales and solution architects to sell our products.
Create enablement assets for sales, demand generation, and partner channel.
Apply knowledge of cloud infrastructure pricing and packaging to optimize product pricing tiers.
Implement creative tactics for enhanced product launch traction.
Determine the types of business customers and use cases best served by DigitalOcean products.
Continuously test and refine messaging via web updates, landing pages, and targeted email campaigns.
Craft an overall cloud platform narrative that includes developers and best‑fit business customers and how DigitalOcean uniquely helps them.
Generate compelling content for product pages, blogs, emails, social media, and press releases.
Act as the go‑to person for all things related to the overall product and platform narrative—events, keynotes, customer/partner engagements, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering, mathematics); MBA is a plus.
7+ years of experience in technical product marketing or product marketing as a product marketing manager or product manager.
Experience with Kubernetes and developer platform products is preferred.
Understanding of the cloud landscape and ability to position products uniquely for business use cases.
Research‑oriented and analytical mindset using data to inform stakeholders and marketing tactics.
Extraordinary communication skills with a track record of navigating complex, unstructured cross‑functional environments.
Comfortable interacting with executives, influencing outcomes, sharing insights, and challenging ideas constructively.
Excellent storytelling and writing skills.
Compensation Range
$110,000 - $158,000
Remote role.
