The pay range is $163,000.00 – $294,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience and certifications. About you
4‑year degree or equivalent experience.
Continuing education to maintain thorough knowledge of technical domains along with staying current in latest technologies.
12+ years of experience in solution architecture and technology development with deep expertise in data platforms, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise‑scale integrations.
4+ years of experience in strategic planning and setting technical direction.
Proven track record driving large‑scale, cross‑functional data modernization initiatives from concept to delivery.
Experience influencing enterprise architecture, data governance, and/or product strategy across multiple teams or domains.
Strong systems thinking and ability to balance business value, technical feasibility, and user experience in design decisions.
Executive presence and storytelling ability to simplify complex architecture for senior audiences.
Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns (data mesh, data products, event streaming, AI/ML enablement).
Demonstrated experience designing cloud‑native systems with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security.
Deep knowledge of data governance, metadata management, lineage, and quality practices at scale.
Remote or Hybrid work arrangement This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as “Flex for Your Day”) work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full‑time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
