Position Summary We are seeking a talented, strategic and empathetic
Content Marketing Specialist
to develop high‑quality, informative, and engaging long‑form written content that resonates with older adults, their families, and industry professionals. You’ll play a key role in our content marketing strategy by producing thought‑leadership pieces, white papers, e‑books, guides, and other educational materials that position The Springs Living as a trusted resource in the senior living space. This role requires a strong storyteller who can distill complex aging‑related topics into accessible, human‐centered content that educates and supports decision‑making.
Application Process We will be reviewing applications and begin contacting candidates the first week of December.
Key Responsibilities
Research, plan, and write high‑quality long‑form content including:
White papers and industry reports
Educational e‑books and guides for families and caregivers
Case studies and success stories
Blog articles and thought‑leadership pieces
Scripts for both lifestyle and educational video in collaboration with multimedia producer and across multiple internal teams.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), care staff, and external partners to ensure accuracy and depth in all content
Translate medical, psychological, and industry‑specific information into accessible, empathetic language for non‑expert audiences
Optimize content for SEO and user experience, balancing readability with keyword strategy
Support lead generation efforts by creating gated content for downloadable assets
Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all content in alignment with TSL brand guidelines
Work closely with design, digital marketing, and sales teams to align content with campaigns and buyer journeys
Stay current on trends and challenges in aging, senior care, and the retirement living industry to inform content strategy
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or professional writing, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or related fields
Strong portfolio of published long‑form content (e.g., white papers, e‑books, or educational guides)
Exceptional research, interviewing, and storytelling skills
Deep empathy and understanding of the emotional and logistical challenges families face during the aging process
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush)
Proficiency with SEO best practices as well as familiarity with emerging AI search engine technologies with proven success in improving web‑based organic ranking
Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing for older adult audiences or their families
Familiarity with topics such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, senior healthcare, or long‑term care planning
Knowledge of lead nurturing and content marketing funnel strategies
