Overview
A Showroom Designer with proven experience in the luxury sector is needed. The ideal candidate understands high‑end interiors, loves leading client interactions, and is fluent in AutoCAD or SketchUp to guide material, layout, and finish selections.
The position supports Atelier + Design’s curated furniture and fine art programs while developing full projects for private clients, architects, and designers. The role combines creative design, project management, and showroom excellence—every interaction reflects the highest level of aesthetic and professional standards.
Compensation
$4,000 per month base salary
2% commission on all showroom furniture and fine art sales, no cap
Approximate annual base compensation: $82,800
Probationary Period Ninety‑day training period. Commissions begin after probation. If full independence is demonstrated by day 60, commissions may begin early at management discretion.
Paid Time Off One week PTO in the first year, beginning after the probationary period.
Base salary is paid on the 1st and 15th of each month.
Commissions are paid monthly once client payments are fully received and verified. A brief review period confirms orders, returns, damages, or client financing before release.
Qualifications
Three to five years of experience in luxury furniture, interior design, & fine‑art
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or SketchUp with the ability to create scaled layouts and visuals
Proven ability to manage multi‑vendor orders and maintain accurate project documentation
Demonstrated record of luxury client management and presentation experience
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Familiarity with CRM systems, quoting, and order tracking
Confidence working with developers, architects, designers, and private clients in elite residential and hospitality environments
Core Responsibilities
Present and specify Atelier + Design’s European furniture, lighting, and fine‑art collections
Assist clients with showroom selections and proposals, including furniture and fine art
Develop complete project presentations that integrate furniture, art, and materials
Support partner brands through precise documentation and visual storytelling
Conduct outreach to developers, design firms, and private estates to grow project opportunities
Build and sustain relationships with discretion and professionalism
Manage showroom projects, vendor communication, and delivery tracking
Host client appointments, private previews, and trade events
Maintain showroom standards that are visually exacting and fully on brand
Uphold confidentiality for clients, pricing, and partnerships
Represent Atelier + Design’s values, vision, and aesthetic in every interaction
