Laboratory Assistant – Providence Anchorage
Join to apply for the Laboratory Assistant – Providence Anchorage role at Providence Health & Services. Provides efficient, accurate, and courteous service for PAMC patients or residents of nursing home clients. Provides accurate and timely collection and receiving of specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations. Performs bedside tests (bleeding times) as requested. Accurately enters data into hospital and laboratory computer systems related to patient billing and charting. Performs processing functions to assure integrity of specimens for testing. Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 10-hr day shifts, 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED. 2 years phlebotomy experience or one year phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting. Less than one year experience will be considered for PAMC Lab employees of six months or greater with approval from Director. Preferred Qualifications
