Responsibilities
Provides efficient, accurate, and courteous service for PAMC patients or residents of Nursing Home Clients.
Accurately and timely collects and receives specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations.
Performs bedside tests (bleeding times) as requested.
Accurately enters data into hospital and laboratory computer systems related to patient billing and charting.
Performs processing functions to assure integrity of specimens for testing.
Required Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED.
2 years Phlebotomy experience or one year phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting.
Less than one year experience will be considered for PAMC Lab employees of six months or greater with approval from Director.
Preferred Qualification
Experience in specimen processing.
Position Details Position is full‑time, 1.0 FTE, 10‑hr day shifts, 40 hours per week. Pay range: $20.19 – $30.26 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
