123Net is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Design Coordinator to support the planning and execution of fiber optic network builds. This roleis responsible for researching and preparing a complete package, consisting of utility maps and other details as needed to facilitate the creation of OSP Fiber Designs, Permitting, Construction, and Restoration. This will require communication, via email and/or phone, with municipal authorities and private utility owners, as well as online research of processes and standards. The role will also coordinate between internal teams to gather information needed to complete designs. The ideal candidate is proactive, a strong communicator, and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong Research and Critical Interpretation skills PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS 1–3 years of experience in telecom, construction, utility, or fiber design coordination. Familiarity with fiber networks, outside plant infrastructure, or telecom permitting processes. Experience using Miss Dig System. Experience with GIS software (Vetro). Experience coordinating with municipalities or utility companies. Understanding of both Commercial and Residential Fiber network deployment methods and terminology. QC, Technical Training, Permitting, and/or Project Management experience a plus.
