We are seeking a highly organized and motivated State Authorization Coordinator to join our team! In this entry‑level compliance role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our institution’s adherence to state authorization regulations, National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) reporting, and veteran student requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Process and maintain state authorization applications, adhering to all relevant regulations and NC‑SARA guidelines.

Submit timely and accurate regulatory reports to the National Student Clearinghouse and other governing bodies.

Manage student data within NSC, researching and resolving discrepancies to ensure compliance.

Proactively research and monitor changes in state and federal regulations, staying current on industry best practices.

Respond to inquiries from stakeholders regarding compliance procedures and regulatory requirements.

Bonus Points

Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and higher education platforms (e.g., Campus Solutions).

Familiarity with compliance resources such as NSC, NSLDS, SHEEO, and NC‑SARA.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).

Minimum of one year of experience in a technical or research-oriented role.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
