The restaurant Expeditor ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste; and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean, and safe. Job Responsibilities
Ensure kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and sent out together by directing servers and/or food runners to deliver and complete the orders. Maintain a brisk, steady, organized pace with no unnecessary steps. Ensure proper presentation of each plate and the appropriate temperature, adhering to recipes. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and all equipment, practicing clean as you go. Measure productivity by both quality and quantity of work completed within a specific time period. Organize supplies and stock before the rush. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Handle multiple tasks and manage fluctuating workloads. Communicate effectively with team members. Pay attention to detail and take initiative. Maintain responsible behavior and a professional image. Maintain a positive attitude. Prioritize safe food handling and safety at all times. Be a team player. Qualifications
2 years of related experience preferred. Flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays. Seniority level
