Coordinator, Creative‑NA – Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) Location: Nashville, TN – hybrid schedule; most team members are expected to be in the office three (3) days a week.

Position Summary Coordinate all aspects of events facilitated by the Nashville BMI office and provide administrative assistance to BMI songwriters and publishers.

Functions of the Job

Support the Creative team in creating and executing initiatives that enhance BMI’s visibility and generate revenue partnerships.

Coordinate event logistics, communications with participants, meetings, detailed travel arrangements, expense reports, supplies, and invoice payments.

Act as liaison between Creative staff and Partnerships & Events, collaborating on projects, studies, and showcases.

Travel to and assist at BMI events, showcases, and festivals.

Interact professionally with the music industry and Nashville business community at events, building relationships and delivering high‑quality execution that exceeds expectations.

Conduct weekly research, analysis, data entry, and maintenance.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

Maintain regular attendance.

Support BMI Core Values and cultivate a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Minimum three (3) years of administrative experience.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong general understanding of the music industry, including publishers, labels, songwriters, and Nashville‑based entities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Copilot.

Experience maintaining database systems and reports, using word processing and spreadsheets.

Excellent multi‑tasking skills – handling large event‑planning projects, supporting three executives, managing affiliate inquiries.

High level of confidentiality.

Ability to establish constructive relationships with employees, management, and vendors.

Professional communication with diverse employees and all levels of staff.

Independent work ethic with good judgment.

Attention to detail.

Prioritization skills to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in CRM databases (e.g., AirTable).

Proficiency in platforms to build sponsorship decks (e.g., Canva).

Experience with ticketing platforms for RSVPs and free events (e.g., Posh).

Salary Range The base salary for this position will be based on qualifications, skills, and experience. The pay range is subject to change; the role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses.
