Entry‑level Associate responsible for supporting production scheduling, material requirement planning, and supply chain coordination under close supervision. Performs tasks within well‑defined procedures, exercises limited decision‑making authority, and collaborates with colleagues to meet team objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide entry‑level support in the planning of a production schedule for designated products.

Consolidate customer forecasts and perform Master Production Schedule (MPS)/Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) inputting and validation.

Manage parameter reporting for designated products.

Ensure alignment of customer purchase orders with production scheduling.

Assist with product End‑of‑Life analysis and development of action plans.

Coordinate shop order releases and materials kitting requirements.

Identify parts shortages and work with appropriate personnel to expedite materials or approve substitutions.

Track shipments according to customer commit dates and notify the Planner of potential issues.

Provide Return Material Authorization (RMA) approvals.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, MRP techniques and manufacturing control systems.

Basic knowledge of purchasing principles, techniques and philosophies.

Proficiency with basic computer applications and ability to learn multiple department‑specific systems (ERP, office systems).

Basic understanding of specific customer needs.

Basic math, data entry, and 10‑key skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.

Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem‑solve a variety of tasks to ensure timely completion.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

Physical Demands

Position performed in a normal office environment.

Requires extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or detailed data.

Frequent repetitive manual movements such as data entry, computer mouse use, and calculator use.

Typical Experience

Zero to two years of relevant experience.

Typical Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
