Job Details
Description Food Expeditors arrange the transfer of food from the kitchen to the serving floor, ensuring each plate is prepared neatly and according to customer specifications. They prepare condiments and side dishes, verify temperatures, and alert servers when orders are ready. In some establishments, they may deliver food directly to the bar or tables. Responsibilities
Maintain efficiency by delivering dishes to the table promptly. Assist waitstaff as needed. Ensure a steady flow of items from kitchen to table and dishwashing area. Qualifications & Skills
Ability to stay organized during busy periods. Good communication skills with team members. Ability to multitask effectively. Speak loudly and clearly to coordinate with coworkers. Working Conditions
Indoor/outdoor work environments with exposure to heat, cold, steam, and wet floors. Fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting. Various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and stand for long periods. Use hands to handle objects. Push and lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Information
